Race Schedule – David Kane’s Race

20 heats of Hydroplane and Runabout boat racing. 65 boats from 15 states will compete for points in the National Boat Racing Association (NBRA).

Friday May 30, 2019

  • To test sign in at Rick Miller’s Motor home. Signing the release by drivers and crew is required.
  • 10am testing till 3pm.
  • 4 pm drivers meeting.
  • 5pm –  9pm rock band concert support Casinos, food venders.

Saturday June 1, 2019

  • 8am drivers meeting that was unable to attend Friday meeting.
  • 9am testing.
  • 10am –  3pm race.
  • 5pm Bands from Branson, MO.
  • 9pm Fireworks.

Sunday June 2, 2019

  • Race 10am till 3 pm.

Prizes

  • $3,000 tow money donated by the David Kane family.
  • $1000 C Stock Hydro draw donated by the Mark Monkres family.
  • Note: you must compete both days to be eligible for tow money.

Thunder On Wolf Creek is conducted by the Oklahoma Boat Racing Association and sanctioned by the National Boat Racing Association.

Just a note about What's Up Doc? Racing. The name came from my uncle who painted Bugs Bunny on my father's boat with the caption What's Up Doc? In 1953. I was thirteen.

Terry, Mark & JImmy are jewels! They are the best! Turn boat judge turn around in 3 minutes! Glad they are part of our team!

My father Kenneth Miller was a electrician.

Braxton with Dudley Malone help rebuilt this 40 year old motor. It is not so fast but has great acceleration.
